Great to see a Bald Eagle!

I’ve been lucky enough to see a lot over the years, but I still get excited when I do – particularly when they are so close to our house!

Hooray for the return of the Sun for you guys. 🙂
And well spotted on the Bald Eagle. 🙂

He was hard to miss if you pay attention to the birds and trees – there aren’t that many very large birds who sit in the trees around here!

It’s a little thing, but it makes our morning walks so much better.

What a beautiful time in the morning. Great pic by the way. 🙂
I am envious…we are going into winter here 😦

But at least your winter is OK – ours is brutal! I would be happy to trade our winters.

It was – we see them around sometimes, but this one was particularly close to our house.

Very cool – it seems the crows are keeping a close eye on it!

They were – I’m guessing they were not as happy as I was about his presence.

Glad the sun is now coming up on your morning walks and that you got to see a bald eagle. That is so cool. We don’t have any in my area of the country, unfortunately.

We are lucky to have them around. We also saw one in the Keys this year – I didn’t even know they had them down there.

I didn’t either. I know they have turned some lose at one of the lakes fairly close to here. They don’t allow people to go into the nesting areas as of yet. I guess they want them to get established first.

So cool to see such ‘wagnificent’ creatures like this. Great way to start the day…along with some extra light. 😉

I see so many interesting things at this hour – this morning, it was cranes (though I didn’t see them until they started making noise long after I had been close enough to get even a halfway decent picture)
