I had thought we were done with the frigid cold weather – we never get it after February, or at least that’s what I tell myself. I was so, so wrong. It felt like 0° F (-17.7° C) on Day 319 at the time of our walk.
Then, when I went to look at my Facebook memories, I saw one where I was going outside to take a nap on the hammock on this day in 2012.
I definitely prefer the 2012 weather.

It’s only because she goes outside and rolls around in the snow!

I’ve also noticed here how much the weather has changed in the last 10 years or so.
Still, Choppy seems to enjoy snow rolling! 🙂

That she does! I don’t recall her doing it as much when she was younger. Perhaps she gets hot flashes as she gets older!

It is quite possible! LM has suddenly decided to sleep outside at night, after 10 years of sleeping indoors!
Of course, we don’t exactly have snow here! 😀

The dog I had growing up started to sleep outdoors sometimes as he got older (and my parents moved out to the country, so he had that as an option). He once slept outside on the coldest night of the year. He had absolutely no desire to come in the house. So apparently snow and cold don’t stop some dogs!

Most definitely! But it’s warming up again, so that’s good.

It was! Of course, I also lived several hundred miles further south at the time, so that might have had something to do with it as well!

Rolling in the snow is always fun, no matter the temperature.
