I’m pretty sure we’re paying for all that warm February weather now – I had told myself I wasn’t going to break out the winter jacket again. Fail. I told myself I wasn’t going to break out the winter boots again. Fail.
On the plus side, at least I’m warm.

Did Choppy see the deer? If so, how did she react? I love to see deer. They are so agile. I am always amazed how they can jump a fence from a stand-still and look so graceful.

She wasn’t with me – I was out at my parents’ house, but she was at home. She usually gives them a half-hearted chase before giving up. I think she knows she has no chance of catching one.

5 nomads! South of Boston, this morning, it was 11° & with windchill: -2! Now: Windchill hasn’t changed, but it’s 15°. Nice, warm sun after snow all day, yesterday….but: Spring is coming, after the Nor’ easter that hopefully blows out to 🌊

It is a bitter day for sure – tolerable in the sun, but out of the wind – only pockets of that here and there however!

We had one blissful day out of the wind – but it’s back. This morning Choppy got a long walk mostly because it meant I didn’t have to go over a ridge that is awful in the wind.
