Even though his birthday is actually February 22, we celebrate George Washington’s birthday today (also known as Presidents Day). Even on a day when you don’t think these two could fight about something, it turns out that they can.

It’s a bit difficult in the one-bedroom apartment I’m renting to keep a sow and piglets. I wonder if the owner would object if I converted the bathroom to a sty. I only ever use the en suite to the bedroom anyway.
That said, I could probably also illegally erect a smoke house disguised as a shed on the bank of the lake I live near.

Thankfully, the pigs haven’t figured out how to lobby the government, so they will get no say in this. The Pork lobby, on the other hand, is going to be accused of nefarious methods.

Gary: (no “reply” to respond to) ….yup, probably not a good idea to raise a sow & piglets, where you live…their piglets are raised a few miles away at a friend’s. But your situation would be a great story for a children’s book!
