Ha! It is quite terrifying. And no less so in person!

This could easily have been the weekend’s “Where’s Choppy…Chinese New Year Edition.” Everyone would have been able to celebrate finding him…and technically he is hiding. I feel compelled to ask, a) why does the house harbor a rooster head and, b) is there a corresponding rooster body?

In answer to your questions: a) Because it seemed like a good idea at the time (alcohol may have been involved), and b) Nope. Thankfully. If you think this was scary, imagine it with a whole body.

Well: what a surprise when I opened that mail! Those are hilarious photos! I think most cats would be atleast a little cautious! Schooner is quite brave! ๐น๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐

I thought he would be terrified – but nope, he just sauntered up to Choppy like, she can’t even see me now! This is great!

Of course Schooner is unfazed, he’s not the one smothering in that head! ๐

True – and he also probably recognizes that Choppy can’t see him from inside!

Oh gawd, that made me laugh. Hafta agree that’s most likely true. Have a good Sunday ya’ll. Stay warm. ๐

We’ll do our best – it’s a difficult proposition around here right now!

It looks like Schooner is hungry for some chook. Happy Chinese New Year Sarah, Paul, Choppy and Schooner.

“Chook”…..I looked that up…that’s a funny word ๐น๐๐ฎ

In Australia, if someone refers to you as an “old chook” it usually means you’re a mature aged woman or someone who behaves like she is a mature aged woman.

And the opposite is?? ๐ฎ๐ถ

A young chook just means you’re young but not necessarily a chick in the babe sense

Maybe! I think Choppy just wanted to be something other than chook as quickly as possible!

OMG POOR CHOPPY!! What a patient dog! Hilarious!!!!

Patience is definitely one of Choppy’s virtues. She had to learn it to put up with me!

Would it be a good idea to incubate them? Furry eggs?

Ha! I am not sure I want to see that. Perhaps I’ll employ you to investigate and give me a report.

Is that even something the USPS allows you to send? I think it might be on that list of banned things you have to say you’re not sending.

Choppy did a wonderful job of wishing us all a fun and funny new year of the Rooster.
Happy Chinese New Year, Sarah, Paul and pets! Love you guys! โค
I can always count on a silly weekend catch up period and hope you are having a good one! ๐

We are having a most excellent weekend – though today we are supposed to pick up a workbench that clearly will not fit in my car. This may be an adventure!

Was it put on top of car, legs up and tied into roof, Sarah? ๐ Life is an adventure!

Thankfully, we didn’t have to resort to that (though it was an option)! It mostly fit in the back of my Escape, with just a bit sticking out the back. That said, it was a chilly ride home with the back window of the car open!

Wow, that brisk air can really leave you chilled. Glad you didn’t have to do the alternative!

Hahaha, so funny! Schooner loves the taste of chicken, I expect. ๐

Most definitely! And Choppy is not one to turn it down, either.

Perhaps he thought he was getting the largest chicken in the world to eat and chase!

I think it’s Choppy’s pale legs that add the realism to this chimera! Very creepy! ๐

That is a little bit creepy. I’m surprised Schooner wasn’t freaked out by it. Happy Chinese New year.

I fully expected him to head off to anywhere else when he saw the mask. But nope, he was completely chill with it.
