The weekend is over – we return to our normal, dark walks. Just a couple more weeks, though, and the sun will be our companion on them once again! I *may* have looked at the sunrise/sunset tables this morning to reassure myself that this will actually be happening.

Me either. I can tell already that it is getting dark later. Thank goodness.

I’m definitely noticing it more in the evenings than the mornings. I think I am just so anxious to get the light back in the mornings for our walks that it can’t move fast enough for me.

Must have been a tiring day for those two 🙂

It must have been – though I don’t think either of them did much but sleep (well, Choppy was outside and went for a walk as well, but that’s not much).

And don’t forget that gosh awful DST is just around the corner even if the sun is MIA in the mornings. 😉

I’m trying not to think of that! At least when it happens, it should be warmer out and I won’t mind the re-disappearance of the sun for the walks.

It’s good that you have a place you can walk when it’s dark.

It works – our old neighborhood had sidewalks. Now, we have part sidewalks, part bike path, part unused road and part busy road. Thankfully, there is little of the latter, but it can get hairy when there is a lot of snow!
