The weather got warmer, and it started raining and getting icy, neither of which is conducive to walking. So, we remain inside for much of the walk (hopefully just temporarily).

Now a quick video – I have no idea what got Schooner so excited, but clearly Choppy was uninterested.

Like the slight turn of Choppy’s head when Schooner runs by. Kind of like saying “Silly cat.”

Many Cats have a wild side! Mine go on dashes thru the house, up & down 2 flights of stairs.

Schooner does the same thing! He sometimes gets going so fast he runs smack dab into things (namely, the sliding door at the back of our house).

There is a big picture window behind the camera. He must have seen something that caught his eye out there. I’m guessing a bird or some small critter (quite possibly another cat, though that likely would have roused Choppy as well).

It is – unfortunately, with the warmth, we’ve also been getting ice. Our walks have been getting cut short and brought inside so we don’t end up falling or getting hit by someone driving.

It had to have been – that’s the only thing I can think of that would have riled up Schooner but not Choppy.

Wren will growl at the crows that gather in the oaks across the road. For some reason, she thinks they are up to no good. She may be right!
