It’s National Bird Day. I’m happy things didn’t go in the middle finger direction.

Good question Choppy!! I’d like to hear what Schooner’s answer is.

Probably that he doesn’t have to wear them because he uses his claws when we try something like that on him.

Well I’ve heard of ‘giving some-one the bird’ but this is the first time I’ve seen it happen to a dog. 🙂

Reblogged this on The Entertainment Patrol (and general musings) and commented:
I really love this dynamic duo. If you haven’t seen this blog before, you MUST check it out. It’s as charming as it is funny. It ALWAYS brightens my day.
PS. The dog is Choppy. The cat is Schooner. Great names eh?

From you comments in the past, I think it was a good idea to put the birds on Choppy and not Schooner. I’m just glad that Schooner didn’t decide to try to “eat” the birds on Choppy’s head.

It is always a danger for Choppy! You never know what Schooner will view as a potential toy/meal.

She is! And so much easier to pose than Schooner.

I’m shocked you got Schooner to look at you and not the birds on Choppy’s head! That could have been bad!

It could have been bad, but it wouldn’t have stopped Schooner. He basically jumped on Choppy’s head last night for seemingly no reason. I think Choppy was shocked. Schooner also looked shocked for someone who initiated the whole thing.
