Who is Schooner’s sign for? Choppy? A MILE? Maybe with the window open🤣

Ha! Choppy doesn’t smell too bad right now.

That was a good shot at Choppy.

Schooner may just be a tad bitter still from being in Halloween Cat Mode recently.

Probably!

That’s because they are raising their armpits and, um, you know dogs can smell them a mile away.😉😊😁

Ha! Love it!

That must be only in the flat Midwest. There are way too many hills around here!

It is hilly enough here that finding a mile would be difficult – though less so now with all the frozen lakes!

There next step is for Choppy to recognise all her Internet fans when we wave!

A tall task, that!

Oh definitely learned something new!! 🙂

I hadn’t hear that before, either! Apparently if you stand still at 300 feet, they can’t see you. The arm waving makes a huge difference.

I did not know that their eyesight was that good. Interesting.

There was more to the fact – apparently, they can’t see us at 300 feet if we aren’t moving. The movement makes all the difference!

Humm. Interesting. So, can they tell the difference between their human moving and someone else moving or is it that they can just see the movement at that distance?

I think it’s the movement – it’s like the bunny sitting outside the window. Choppy won’t see it if it sits still, but the moment it moves, Choppy sees it.

Is that true? About the mile away? If so, that’s amazing.

I read it on the Internet, so perhaps it should be taken with a large grain of salt…it also said they can’t see you at 300 feet if you are standing still. The movement makes all the difference!

Ohhh! Awesome!!

Is that actually true?

I have no idea – but I found it on the Internet, so it has to be true, right? 😉
There was more to it as well – it said that a dog can’t recognize its unmoving person from 300 feet, but the moving hands make all the difference, hence why the dog recognizes its person from even farther away when he or she is moving.

If it’s true! I did no verification. I can trust the Internet, right?

Totally! If it’s on the Internet, it’s got to be true! 🤓
