I’m going to add something to the Dog Walk Challenge posts now that it is definitely winter here: the temperature.

Travels with Choppy 
Here it’s 37 just now, and the temperature is supposed to be falling all day, to a low of 29 tomorrow in the early morning hours. Well, we’re quite far south, aren’t we?

At 8:45 am this morning it was 1…as in a single solitary degree. AWK!!!!! Can I just go on the record as saying I hate La Niña years? Stay warm fur-iends!

Choppy makes a cute snowman (snowdog?). In the video, looks like Schooner caught a fly and Choppy kept wondering if you were home yet.

It is! I would be happy to leave the cold behind any day now – but I think that’s just a wish at this point. I’ll bundle up and try to remember that it is going to get worse and I should enjoy this relatively balmy stretch.

Any outfit with a hat is not among Choppy’s favorites. She puts up with the hats, but the second I am not supervising, the hat is gone.
