Our Day 213 walk would have been surprisingly warm, but for a steady breeze. I’ll take it this time of year, though!
Date: November 28, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy
I have another video for you today – it’s some night vision for you, and both Choppy and Schooner are involved (this was shortly before we got home last night).

Love the nice big stretch!

She has been into the big stretches since the day I brought her home – though they have gotten longer and probably more necessary as she has gotten older!

I can certainly identify with that! 😉

Choppy gives new meaning to down dog yoga position. LOL And seeeeee Schooner does LOVE The Chopster. That was so cute how he greeted her. 🙂

In real life, Schooner does seem to love Choppy. Choppy has no idea what to do with Schooner. I was reading a book a couple weeks ago that suggested dogs and cats have trouble communicating because a lot of their actions are misinterpreted by the other species. For instance, the rubbing up against another animal, like cats to, is interpreted by dogs as an attempt to show dominance (as opposed to being a way to leave a scent). Schooner does this all the time to Choppy, who always seems worried when it happens, like she doesn’t know what Schooner is going to do next.

Aw, poor Schooner. Spurned! Also, I unaccountably have itchy ears now…….

Ha! And Schooner gets spurned a lot by Choppy. She still doesn’t really know what to do with him, even a year after he showed up.

Wow, is that a year already??

Seems like only yesterday you were introducing the then-nameless kitten!

Right?! Of course, a year ago he was with us, but still very nameless.

Awh Schooner just wanted to give Choppy some lovin….Choppy is probably thinking this thing can’t be trusted!

Considering how many times Schooner has randomly attacked Choppy’s tail, I wouldn’t trust him if I was her, either!

Maybe Schooner knew the camera was watching and just decided to act “nice” so when you guys watched it you would be like awhh Schooner how sweet!

Oh, I never thought of that possibility before! You may be right!

I know, right? She has sensitive skin – I think now that the heat is on and it’s winter, her skin is dry and itchy. I know the feeling well!

aw, poor Choppy and you! Lots of moisturiser needed, (well maybe not for Choppy).

Oh, I don’t even want to imagine the mess of Choppy and moisturizer!

Schooner has created a situation where “trust” has been sacrificed. Choppy just isn’t willing to take chances.

Well I have to say Choppy had a good stretch or two there, that couch sure is comfy ! Oh shame, poor Schooner, he just was so cute, saying hello and wanting to play…. 🙂

I think Choppy’s window for playing on any given day any more is small – she’s turning eight sometime around now, so her desire to play is not what it once was.

Haha, Choppy, Schooner just wanted a hug.

I don’t know, with Schooner a hug might be a stealthy way to initiate an attack.

Love their “glowey” eyes! 😂

It’s the only way I know it’s the night vision, and not just them showing up in the dark because of light outside or from somewhere else!
