Paul and I have been in San Antonio since last Thursday – hence the lack of presence in the comments and on your blogs. We’re back now and things should get back to normal over the next couple days. But don’t worry, I didn’t stop the Dog Walk Challenge (we actually did quite well over the weekend!).

For those who weren’t here years ago when this blog was just getting started, Choppy visited the Alamo in San Antonio several years ago. Here’s a link to see a picture from that trip.
And back at home, here is what Schooner did with his Saturday:
Hope you enjoyed SA!
Schooner has a fanrstic cat tree.

We had a great time – we could have used another day or two!
And Schooner, like Choppy, *may* be a little spoiled.

Maybe more than just one or two days.

True! And then we could get out of the city a bit more.

Haha that’s a great cat tree, and Schooner certainly gets about on it!

He loved it from the moment it was put together!

Kudos for keeping up on the mileage. Schooner has a pretty swank cat condo.

It is quite nice! We kind of wondered if he used it – now we know he pretty much spends all day up there. He’s actually there right now!

Well done on all the walking. Schooner certainly kept himself busy 🙂

We actually did even more walking than was on there – I just kept track for part of each day. My Fitbit was very happy with me!

Cats and sunlight always! (I always say I’m part feline.) Love the impressive cat tower! Glad to see he uses it.

He most definitely does use it! We kind of wondered how much he uses it while we are away. It seems he spends most of his day there.

His castle!

I’m sure he looks at it that way – now, if only he could somehow get at the birds he is looking at outside, his life would be complete.

Life as a cat! We have a sun room with a smaller cat tree we need to look into a bigger one..If my kitties were to see this video they would be upset with me!

We have a room with virtually nothing in it – it made it easy to get a big cat tree (it’s also where we store Choppy and Schooner’s toys).

Love the ‘cat-cam’! If there was a cam on me, you’d wonder if I was dead from the inactivity 😉
JK!

I’m really curious to see if and how he and Choppy interact when they are home alone tomorrow.

It will be very interesting 🙂

I have an interaction update: so far, Schooner has come over to smell Choppy once. It was not long lasting.

He was very active! Looked like he was having great fun.

I’m surprised he didn’t really play at all (unless he was doing so when he was off camera).

Welcome back home – I have not been to San Antonio in years – hope you had a great time there. 🙂

I hadn’t been since 2013 – it’s such a great city. I especially like it for football, because everything is so concentrated and you get to see everyone in town for the game and have a good time on the Riverwalk while doing it.

Schooner and I seemed to have had similar Saturdays, LOL! – Except Schooner has a wicked cat tree and I only had the couch and tv 😛

I think I would prefer the couch and TV!
