It’s Election Day here in the States. I’m sure these two have some insightful commentary. Or not.

I know. I can’t wait for the conversation to change from “Trump or Clinton?” At least tomorrow, we’ll be talking about something else.

Exactly! I don’t even care what we’re talking about at this point, just that it’s something else!

Schooner don’t you have Thanksgiving next?

I don’t think there is any money to be made with Thanksgiving – so the ads go straight to Christmas!

It’s probably a good thing. If you started with gift giving then suddenly Australia would somehow celebrate American Thanksgiving 😱

LOL, yes on with the Christmas ads!

There are already a lot of Christmas trees up around here!

Christmas ads already here!

Here too, but now they’ll start in huge numbers – I do (sort of) enjoy them, though. They get me in the holiday mood!

We have a great fast forward button 😉

The problem for us is sports – they’re about the only thing we watch, and there is no fast forward if you’re watching live!

I’m with both of you on this one!! Yea no more political ads. Boo for Christmas ads.

I would like Christmas to wait until after Thanksgiving, at least! Once we’re there, I do kind of like the Christmas ads. I get in the holiday mood when I see them!

LOL – both Choppy and Schooner have the perfect, “I’m over it” expressions. Another win on capturing just the right moment :-).

Thanks! It was not easy to get that pic. And then this morning, no problem getting several great pics. I have no idea what makes them behave (or not).

TV will be so much calmer. Though the constant reminders that I still have a lot of Christmas shopping to do are not necessarily welcome.

Oh I know.. Even going to the stores and seeing all the holiday decor makes me remember how much money I am about to blow

I didn’t expect Schooner to be a half empty kind of critter. But truthfully, if Christmas as is the price to pay for no more political ads, color me thrilled.

I would have taken Christmas ads a month ago to get fewer political ones!

Choppy & Schooner: do you write a letter to Santa & the Elves with your wishes? And that added bonus: Sarah already bought the wrapping paper.

Oh, they haven’t done so recently. Perhaps they may have to soon!

Heheh.. Clueless whether he’s impressing Choppy or competing. Nevertheless, he looks as serious as the alumni from London Business School lol

I was shocked and rather unhappy stayed up till the very end. I wish the ads would stick to facts, then maybe the young people would find out who they really want in office. The ads are over but wish they had better informed the constituents, Sarah! I am not quite able to smile or laugh at the situation.

Seems that Mr. Trump taught us a few lessons about leadership and goal setting. Here is an interesting perspective https://bossinthemiddle.com/2016/11/09/midweek-pump-mr-trump-taught-us-a-few-things-about-leadership-and-goal-setting/
