I was going to write the same: “puddles are fun”….but then you get the shaking off of water & mud & a dirty dog.

Choppy always seem like she is a combination of happy and excited. I think dogs like rolling in mud, water and unfortunately, my brother’s big dogs like rolling over dead Lake Erie fish after a rain storm! 🙂

Choppy is right with them on dead fish! Many a time I have had to keep her away from them. My dad puts his dead, cleaned fish out at their house for the crows to eat. They love it. So does Choppy.

That’s true – Izzy found one last night in the backyard at my brother and sister-in-law’s house. Things went poorly for Izzy, as well as the two people involved!

Dog walks in the rain is why the smart people invented gore-tex. It keeps the rest of us from drowing during on our doggie rounds.

I can’t justify the purchase! It doesn’t rain enough. I just have to purchase more cold weather clothing for the winter months instead.

Our winter months are our rainy months. Waterproof pants, jacket, and most important…shoes.
