Another day where I failed to take a picture of Choppy on our walk. In my defense, we were dodging lots of construction trucks. It was probably better to avoid those than get a picture.

Considering we’ve spent most of the summer having to go miles out of our way twice a day to get home because of construction, I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

It’s a drop he has actually made! You’d think he would learn, but no. He is supremely confident that it will not happen again, apparently.

Wow! They are daft at times, cats! 🙂
My daughter’s cat fell 4 floors out of a window, but luckily landed in bushes on the way down and was uninjured. Thing is, it was really hard for the cat to even get out of the window; it had to jump vertically several feet from a tiny ledge and then somehow squeeze itself out of the space!

I’m amazed at how little they get injured from these falls! My sister’s cat once jumped between balconies at her apartment – I don’t know what the fall would have been had she not made it, but I know I wouldn’t have survived it!
