I have been up at a conference in Door County – that’s the little peninsula that juts out from the rest of Wisconsin into Lake Michigan. It’s beautiful here, and I took a couple hikes yesterday to enjoy it.

Walk One:

Date: July 15, 2016
Location: Peninsula State Park, Wisconsin
Length: 2.6 Miles

Walk Two:

Date: July 15, 2016
Location: Peninsula State Park, Wisconsin
Length: 2.9 Miles
Who: Sarah

Walk One: I took a hike on the Skyline Trail in the Park. It was a nice, mostly easy walk.
This was a random tennis court in the woods. Seriously, no roads to it.
With a name like Skyline Trail, you knew there would eventually be a view.
Walk Two: I made up a loop trail hike along several trails – one of which was the Eagle Trail. As you can see, nature eventually takes back nature.
Part of the hike took me along the shores of Lake Michigan. These trees and their roots were so cool.
Pretty stairs.
