Your cat, Schooner, and dog, Choppy, have been a source of constant amusement with my Mom, Sarah! This week is almost over, stayed from Friday the 1st through tomorrow the 10th. Fun times, may need a vacation to get over my vacation~ ha ha! 🙂

I feel the same way when vacation is over – I need one to get caught up on everything that happened while I was away!

Choppy always makes me smile. Today she made me laugh at her expression of Schooner laying on her legs!!!

She doesn’t look too happy with that one, does she?

Choppy, you wear the apron well! Scooner hopefully will share the “hotdog” with mustard with Choppy. Get grill’n 😹 PS…I wouldn’t give them any beans….💨

I’m not sure the smell coming from that end of these two could get any worse – even with beans involved!

I am wondering what would have happened if the top had come off the mustard and Schooner had got a mouthful!

I kind of wish it had happened, just to see his reaction!

Schooner and Choppy are amazing.

Agreed. Though I wish Schooner would be more willing to wear clothing.

Yes I can see how that could be a challenge.

Hmmm. I know something that could go on the grill.
Really. I do like cats! They taste like chicken…. 😯 too soon?

Ha! It’s definitely not too soon, based on some of the things that cat has broken around here.

In view of our recent 4th of July grilling I think I could have used Choppy here! 😉

Don’t let the apron fool you – she eats a lot more than she lets get to the table!

Of course she does. She’s an intelligent doggie! 😉

Love the jaunty hat!! Hope that steak materializes soon.

I think we’d all like some steaks to materialize – I’m hungry!

😀 That Schooner – what a loose cannon!
One of my favorite pics of all time is the one of C. standing at the grill with the apron on. I still think of it and smile.

I love that picture! It was one of the more difficult ones I’ve taken of Choppy, as she really didn’t want to stand up with her paws on the grill. I ended up bribing her with hot dogs to get it done!

As someone who lives in the Upper Midwest and grills all winter, I am on board with this statement.

Bribery is how everything in this house gets done!

I think Schooner might want to let Choppy handle grill duties.

I don’t know – he would probably not get anything to eat if Choppy is in charge (of course, none of us would get anything to eat with her in charge).

Just quietly, is young Schooner indulging in too much grill? Or is it just an awkward angle 😉

Let’s go with awkward angle!
