Travels with Choppy 
I get the impression that bunnies are a huge motivation for Choppy on these walks but, if that is what it takes to get Choppy moving, then may the bunnies always run free!

I’m not sure I would call them a motivator so much as something she hopes she sees – she would be motivated and excited to go on the walks, even without them (she had only seen a few bunnies in her life before we moved up to Wisconsin – though she loved them from the moment she first saw one).

Does Choppy know what a bunny is? Archie always manages to get there just before they disappear into the hedgerow’s so even after 11 years, I still think he is uncertain….!

She does – especially this time of the year, some of the babies don’t seem to know better than to check out the tall four-legged creatures hanging out with the humans on the ropes. So she gets close before they realize they should be running!

This is true – though they don’t have to teach them much to get away from Choppy. Even the ones who don’t run away quickly still get away from her!
