Beautiful place to walk. Wish I had this closer to me! Cool turtle nest – they must have volunteer beach patrollers.

They must – I saw some of these elsewhere, but can’t remember where.

And the Ghost Crab is hiding in the hole, so that if someone comes even near the Sea turtle egg nest, it’s going to pop out & say “Boo” and scare the 💩 out of them 😶

If you ever want to see some in person, I recommend the Outer Banks. If you went out at night, it was all you could do not to step on them – I have never seen so many crabs on a beach!

That would be too much like a nightmare for me as I’m extremely fearful of anything spider like and unless they’re steamed and in pieces on a plate, crabs remind me too much of spiders. lol.

At least the crabs are tasty – so they have that going for them over spiders. Then again, I’ve never eaten a spider. Perhaps they are tasty as well.

Love that they cordon off the sea turtle nest. When I was in FL, they would dim the lights along the beach at hatching time, so the baby turtles could find their way to the water.

This was a pretty unpopulated area – I am guessing they don’t need to do anything like that, as there wasn’t much unnatural light.
