Getting Schooner to chew on things is far easier than I am guessing it would be to make him wear shoes and walk around!
As for Choppy, she basically refuses to walk now when I put shoes on her. She just stands there and looks sad.

So adorable! 😍 I have 3 pairs of LLBean flip flops, that my 3 kitties have left “teething marks in”, even though they are all adult cats. Friends will say: like your flip flops…yeah, me, too.. & show them the “teething” marks…definitely not made from “memory foam” 😝

Oh, teething marks…Choppy chewed up two of the cheap, plastic flip flops when she was a puppy. I am guessing she assumed they were dog toys, as they were made out of the same thing. I couldn’t really get mad at her for that (plus, the things only cost a couple dollars, so they were probably cheaper than actual dog toys!).

Had no idea there was a flip flop day, but as we are in winter here now, I think I’ll pass! 🙂

I’m guessing whatever the temperature is there, here in Wisconsin we would think it was flip flop weather! (Note: this applies to anywhere able to grow tropical plants – if it isn’t snowing, it’s time to break out the shorts and flip flops!).

Too bad my dog didn’t chew up on flip flop today! He did step on the back of mine the other day and break it so maybe he knew this day was ahead haha!

Choppy steps on the back of the flip flops, too! It must be something about the way they fall of the heel. Apparently, dogs follow quite closely in our steps!
