She really does enjoy these walks – but why couldn’t that last photo have been a where’s Choppy? I’d have spotted her for once! 🙂

Ha! I’ll keep the level of difficulty in mind. Maybe someday you’ll get a nice, easy one!

It’s fine – you have given us easy ones now and then, and just because I can’t see them, doesn’t mean others can’t either. 🙂

Tail up means very happy! 🙂 I admire your early rising – something I’ve never been very good at doing. 😉

I used to be bad at it – I’ve gotten to be a morning person over the years. I don’t have any idea how it happened. It’s even easier to get up when the alternative is to have to walk in the heat!

Yes, I can see that. I tell myself that gardening would be so much easier early in the morning, but I cannot drag my butt out of bed to save my life. 😉

I would guess a happy owner can be found as well!

Good for you and Choppy, getting out before the heat sets in, looks like it was a beautiful day for a walk.

It was – so long as you went early. I don’t think I would have had much fun a little later when the heat really got going!

I know what you mean. Too much heat and humidity just zaps all the energy.

I am definitely not someone who is built for the heat. A few minutes in the sun and I am exhausted. This woman was meant for shade!

Ah, then we have that in common. I can’t stand being cold but being in direct sunlight is just as uncomfortable.

Exactly! The cold is awful as well. I am a person built for climate control.

Hope no more ticks!

She had another one Sunday night – or we assume she did, as Paul found it on the kitchen floor. I’ve instituted stricter tick controls post-walk, to hopefully deal with this problem.

wow no fun!

Nope – but since then she hasn’t had any. So that’s a couple days now!

He really does enjoy these walks. Tippy enjoys hers too. I don’t walk her out in the tall grass much, because I don’t want to get ticks. Just thinking about them make me itch.

I had to pull one off of me last week – I just enjoy the walks too much to avoid the places where they hide (and that one was in the short grass, so I’m thinking there is nowhere safe).
