You know, it’s one thing to fall asleep on the job. It’s a whole different thing to let everyone else in the office know you’re taking a nap while they’re hard at work.

hahaha Chase the bunnies, Choppy! 😀

I like to believe that in her mind, she catches them (since that is never going to happen in real life).

To be fair, she probably wouldn’t do anything if she did catch them! I think it is all in the chase 🙂

This is very true – she has cornered a muskrat, a groundhog and several possums. She just barks at them until I come over and rescue the poor animals by dragging Choppy away.

Aw, well actually, I am glad to hear this. 🙂

Hilarious. Probably dreaming of those bunnies (I never did see in the pictures, lol) you guys find on our walks. :-).

It’s always about the bunnies in Choppy’s world! At least, it is until she sees a squirrel (either in real life or her dreams).

I love watching her dream – she doesn’t do it as much as she did when she was younger. I wish I knew why!

Or maybe she wants to take a “wade” with the goslings or muskrat…choices, choices!

Oh, that is true – she does enjoy that as well!

Dogs try to show humans how to have a happy life. Fine example of the napping lesson

Now, if only I could get others around here to see that napping in the afternoon is a good thing, I’ll be set!

LOL, so very funny – must be dreaming about the bunnies! 🙂

This sounds like a very likely scenario – it’s either that, or squirrels!

LOL Tippy will do that too. When she “barks” her little paws are usually twitching too.

Oh, Choppy was running up a storm! The video of that didn’t come out as well, though, so I edited it out.

The sounds of doggie-dreaming are the best sounds in the world. Every workplace should have them!
Love and licks,

I agree wholeheartedly – as does Choppy!

Orso does that too. He really gets going at night in bed sometimes. I’ve been punched repeatedly in the back, stomach and head on many different nights.

This makes me glad Choppy sleeps on the floor!

That would be ideal but it is a battle we lost a long time ago

I still feel bad for her sometimes that she doesn’t come into bed, but usually it’s a fight I am glad I fought. Plus, she has an absurdly expensive bed of her own, so I can’t feel too bad. Not that she ever actually uses it, but she does have the option.

Our first lab, Buddy, slept in his bed, and was not allowed on the furniture. AJ our second lab would sneak into bed with Mitch after I left to go to work and didn’t get caught for a long time. Mitch said, well if that is the worst thing he does, I can live with that. (Famous last words) After that we loss all control here.
I cover the bed in sheets and remove the pillows or cover them, because I don’t want to sleep in their hair and oils, because I’ve seen what they get into. That means I never get to have a made bed that looks nice because it is encased in protective sheets. 🙂

Well, we do have to keep our bedroom door closed. Choppy never used to come on my bed, but since Paul arrived, she will get up there if we give her the chance and we’re not around (she won’t get up there if we are in the house). There is probably some dog psychology lesson in there, but I don’t know what it is!

And the experts say dogs don’t know what is acceptable or not. 😊

Exactly – Choppy used to use a mirror at my brother and sister-in-law’s house to keep an eye on people on the next floor. When she saw someone coming in the mirror, she would hop off of the couch, where she was not supposed to be.

To cute, she is just catching up on a little shut eye before the next walk….I wonder if she was dreaming about the bunnies ? Guess we will never know 🙂

I hope it was bunnies – though it could have been a dream about chasing Schooner around the house!

Ha, it worked on the home laptop, maybe the boss had disabled video playing at work (I don’t know why!). So cute, I love the dreaming!
