It’s just gorgeous there – the Appalachian Trail passes nearby. I have been to visit many times, and I still get excited every time I see it.

Walking with these views, you must be treading on air! 🙂

It is a beautiful part of the country – a bit of a change from home, though the cows remain the same!

If you like those mountains, you should come to North Carolina and see our magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains. Breath taking!

I’ve seen them – and they are beautiful! Paul and I want to make a return trip. As for these, these are ones I am lucky enough to see every time we go visit Paul’s family (and they are certainly far larger than any we have in Wisconsin!).

You can take the girl out of Wisconsin, but you can’t keep her from taking pictures of the cows!

I like seeing the Appalachian mountains with the pretty green grass in the foreground. 🙂 Cows and goats in the countryside make me smile, Sarah.

There’s something calming that slows down your blood pressure in the country, clean air and beauty in all directions, Sarah. 🙂

I feel better in nature than pretty much anywhere else. It is just like you say – calming.

Thank you! It’s definitely different than your part of the world (and mine, for that matter!).

I highly recommend it – not the tallest mountains, but quite peaceful!
