Hilarious picture of the cat! And yes – I’ve voted. We have elections on Thursday – bet they won’t be as good as the Choppy vote.

I’m guessing the candidates in this election are far cuter, if nothing else!

Schooner has no idea that walking with you and Choppy would involve a leash, does he?
LikeLiked by 2 people
I’ve had him on a leash! We didn’t try walking anywhere, I just wanted him to try it on. Perhaps with warmer weather we’ll venture outside.

As I said, you are the Pet Whisperer. Any cat Ive had, no sooner than the leash or harness was buckled around their bodies, they lost the ability to walk, lol.

He seemed OK with it – hopefully that will continue!

Hahaha get him a cat leash! Some cats love that (and many more hate it :p)! Meanwhile my cat Garfield trapped our other cat in the basement last night. Cats are so amusing.

Ha! Cats can be jerks.
And I have a leash for Schooner, but other than a brief sojourn inside, it hasn’t been used. I need to break it out!

Yes! And then share it on your blog! 😋

Oh, that would be far too amusing to pass up for the blog! I will definitely share when we make another attempt.

The cat made it easy with these pics!

Uh-oh, looks like Schooner is hatching an escape plan. You have your paws full with that one!
LikeLiked by 2 people
Oh, it gets worse – he regularly makes a break for the doors when they are open. He gets out pretty regularly. I’m just waiting for him to realize he can open the screens (as he already figured out how to open the kitchen cabinets).

Oy! I had a Maine coon cat that used to tear the corner of the screen door out to escape. I had to tape a foam core triangle to the door, but it had to be replaced often due to chewing! Not pretty, but it worked. Pets!!! 😦

My parents had a cat who just pawed open the screen door – she was an outdoor cat and apparently decided she wanted to be an indoor one!

Schooner looks like a mountain climbing cat

The mountains of Wisconsin are not much of a challenge!

Maybe he just needs to ride on Choppy’s back on your daily walks lol

That will not end well. Not that I speak from personal experience attempting to make the cat ride the dog…but yes. Yes, I do speak from personal experience. It has not gone well.

Be careful what you wish for, S. Those tiny legs can’t hack it. Just sayin’.

Wow! Schooner has so much energy, Sarah! The cat got me chuckling. . .
This photo with Choppy “giving you the look” needed an animated “eye roll” like a teenager gives their parents.

The animals around here have perfected the animal version of the eye roll!
As for Schooner, I forgot how much energy baby animals require. I look forward to him getting a little older!

Good to keep up the walking 🙂 But it looks like Schooner is determined to join you! 🙂

He does want to join in – I need to work on his leash walking skills (or get him a stroller).

Bahahaha – stroller! Or a little ‘howdah’ fixed on top of Choppy! 😀
Now I can’t stop giggling! 😀

I actually looked up cat strollers today – they aren’t too expensive!

I’m still going with the Elephant seat on top of Choppy! – And I want photos 😀
My daughter’s cat follows them on walks a few paces behind, as if she’s not really with them! So funny. 🙂

That is awesome! I think Schooner might try that if we let him, as he does love Choppy.

hehe Yes the little one adores her. 🙂

Yep, they are always thinking more walking, less picture taking!
