You could weigh Choppy and see if there is a difference at the end of the month – it could add a little goal to the challenge. Things like the effects of fresh air and de-stressing are tougher to measure. 🙂

I could – she is not keen on standing on the scale, though. You have to hold her, and 80 pounds of wiggly dog is not easy to hold.

🙂 Yeah, I see the problem. It doesn’t really matter anyway, she couldn’t care less. Fitness is a silly human obsession. It’s all about spying rabbits to her.

That has been the task on all the walks so far – they are seriously everywhere! It’s Choppy heaven.

Walk 1, enjoyed it – and I did find the bunny. Thank goodness my computer is touch screen and I can zoom the picture! Thanks for sharing Sarah! 🙂

You’re welcome – and there continue to be bunnies. It may not be the last bunny-finding challenge!

We did – Choppy was exhausted afterward. I will count that as success!

haha It takes time for a dog to build up those muscles – but she will be out-pacing you in no time! 🙂

This is something I am definitely sure will be the case!

Just got back from San Antonio, TX and picked up Tucker from his sitter who had 5 dogs to take care of. Got Tucker home and took him for 1 of 4-5 walks he gets each day. Can tell today will be shorter walks because he is sleeping deeply. He loves his walks and visits to the dog park.

Lucky dog! Sounds like he had a great time at the sitter (if exhaustion is any indication!).

Are you taking details of her change in weight? Enjoy every moment.

Not right now – it’s somewhat of a pain to get her on the scale, and ultimately this isn’t about weight but about getting healthier.

Choppy we know you will be happy and maybe even a little more muscle at the end of the month. You take care of Sarah on your walks!

She should be much healthier – hopefully she’ll be able to take the walk and return home without being out of breath (like she is now after our walks).

Easy to encourage. Harder to act. Do well and do more. 🙂

I see the Bunny by the tan tall brush. I love red winged blackbirds, Sarah. 🙂
