What. A cat has trophy?
Sorry, I meant what a catastrophe!

Amazing that you are beginning to train the Cat! 🙂
And that none of that wine had been opened! 😀

I only used the unopened bottles – I’m not wasting the good booze on the animals!
As for Schooner’s training, he might be learning, or I might be sucking his will to fight. I’ll take it, either way.

Is that a caternet sauvignon I see back there?

Ooooo I see Schooner enjoys red wine like me 🙂 Choppy, clearly has had enough and has that sleepy feeling 🙂

There’s only red wine because I’m the white wine drinker. That is to say, someone drank all the white wine.

How do you get hammered on an unopened bottle of champagne?
LikeLiked by 1 person
You have had so much other champagne that you can’t even open the next bottle!

That is a word I cannot say aloud. I just can’t get it right.
I don’t want to alarm you, but I think it might be time for your pets to seek help.

They’re dressing up in inappropriate clothing, drinking too much, hanging out with the wrong crowd…you may be right. It may be intervention time.

You should really make sure they know you care. And that they’re there for you. And that their behavior has affected you in the following ways.

Yup. Though from the number of sad looks they give me (usually regarding food), they may not agree.

Hi Sarah,
This post lets me think of a suggestion for “p”: plonky – the British slang term for a drunkard. From the “plonk” sound drawing the cork from a bottle makes.
Cheers,
Pit

Oh, I wish I would have seen this! It would have been a great one. Maybe next year I can just do a Drunk Cat and Dog A to Z Challenge – it’s just them dressed up in alcohol-related outfits.

I send them out to do it in the bushes. At least it’s cleaner out there.

Oh Sarah! Good one.
But honestly, would you give Chops a zip when you have a glass of wine? Silly me ☺
I know some people treat their pets with drinks☺☺

I am sure Choppy would suggest she should have some alcohol, but no, neither of them actually get alcohol. Though I wouldn’t put it past Schooner to sneak up on the counter and attempt to drink some.

This was funny and such a unique post for “O,” Sarah. Hugs for all the efforts and my maiden name started with “O” and it was never pronounced very well. I may have gone out to the neighboring farms and asked a farmer with overalls to pose for my alphabet. Next year, maybe I will join all of you folks! Have a wonderful day or evening, Sarah, Choppy and your sweet cat who is learning how to follow directions! 🙂

My maiden name has an ‘ou’ in it. Absolutely impossible for people to figure out. The ‘o’ in Ferguson is much easier. I can’t imagine having a name that starts with ‘o’ – it would be so frustrating (well, unless it was ‘Otis’ – people know that one. Thanks, elevators!)

The cat really wants a sip. Choppy seems less interested.

Until there is meat-flavored wine, Choppy will stick with water. And treats.

Is that Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Romanee-Conti Grand Cru, Cote de Nuits, France, I see by Schooner? $57,000 per bottle!

Only the best!
Or maybe not. He’s lucky he didn’t get stuck with something coming out of a box.
