A day late, but as you all know, you get what you pay for around here.
Thanks to the most definitely frozen pond and river, Choppy is getting some ventures in the yard for her walks (as you may have guessed from the “Where’s Choppy?” post). Paul and I also shoveled part of the pond, which means Choppy’s walks sometimes consist of me ice skating while she chases me and I desperately hope she doesn’t knock me over. This is cuter if you don’t have to deal with the melted snow that follows Choppy wherever she goes.Bat dog!Choppy is enjoying our snow – it’s now a nice amount. It is currently several inches, which is far better than several feet.Choppy can’t even escape the cat when she wants a nap. Perhaps this is why she is happy to spend so much time outside…
Oh, I am going to pretend I didn’t read that. Especially as I can hear him doing something behind my bookcase, but cannot figure out (a) what that is, or (b) how he got back there.
Meanwhile, my awesome dog is already asleep for the night. I have conveniently forgotten all her bad puppy behavior at this point in her life.
I think the cat is more comfortable than Choppy. But then again, that’s pretty typical of cats. Choppy just gets to worry that the cat will attack and she will be unable to retaliate.
Cute 🙂

She hasn’t had a good snow face in a while (maybe since this picture) – despite having been out while it was snowing last night!

The two of them are going to be BFFs once the wild thing settles down. 🙂

It may be a long time before he settles down – he doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to get to calm middle age!

It takes a couple of years, I think. In the meantime, enjoy the hellion!

They always seem to have the upper hand! It’s like dealing with a video game character.

I’m sure Choppy enjoys it more than the tail attacks!

I love bat ears!

Choppy rarely gets them, despite her floppy ears. Or maybe I’m just never at a good angle to see them.
