I used to like picking on journalists who used poor grammar but there are so many who are newscasters, I gave up. Spelling is even worse these days than ever! Smiles, Robin

The worst is when one of my friends sends me an email with a ton of misspellings – I wonder if they just ignore the little squiggly line on purpose to annoy me, or what.

It is so prevalent now, I think folks depend way too much on spell-check. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

You’re right, better to laugh. I fear for the dissolution of our language, but the truth is language is always evolving. Read anything written 200 years ago, and it is clearly a different tongue.

I’d like to say something clever about it, but I am so guilty of misspelling. Being tired and rushing to answer people while trying to produce a post is really not a good excuse I know, but there it is.
