Hmm, could it possibly be jealousy? After all the ‘Dressed up Choppy’ posts, this dam cat comes into the house and not only gets dressed up, but gets posted on the ‘Choppy Blog’?
Huff. 😉
While Choppy does look very sophisticated here (compared to her usual OTT) Kitten does steal the lime light- drowned in the neck frill! Thanks for the laugh 😀
As you have seen since this post, sophistication was only short-lived. And the cat has been noticeably absent. He (the cat) is not the best at getting dressed up.
How in the world did you get Cat to sit still for that? You are the pet whisperer for sure as I’ve yet to have a fur-baby that would tolerate a collar much less an “outfit” of any kind :-).
He just did it naturally – I am thinking, though, it was some combination of beginner’s luck on my part, and the cat’s slight fear of the dog. There is a lot of “cat freezing” when the dog is nearby, and this was definitely similar.
Oh, what havoc we wreak on our pets, when our kids get too old for us to dress them up. Mongo gets to dress up for each holiday, and as long as there is a treat involved, he is content to sit until his picture is taken. My kids won’t do that any more no matter how many chocolates I offer them.
Everyone has the price, but I think you are right. It would cost me a pretty penny to be able to take my 20-somethings out shopping in matching penguin suits (again). 😉
adorable!

Thanks! (Though really, the credit all goes to the dog and the cat.)

Most definitely – now, I just need to get the cat to be so patient…

It’s just probably the idea that she has to share the spotlight. What a good sport, Choppy is. :O)

This could well be it. I will have to consider this when I attempt to dress the cat up in the future.

Wow you are lucky to have Choppy and a cat that you can dress up.

Oh, most definitely. Somehow, I don’t think the husband would be so patient if I tried to do this to him if they weren’t around!

Probably not they just don’t have the sense of humor

If only they did, this blog would be doubly hilarious.

She may well be hoping for more outfits for the cat (it gives her a break).

Choppy, too, enjoys the treat part of dressing up.
And perhaps you need to offer the kids better treats. Unfortunately, those sorts of treats are probably super expensive!
