Happy Friday! We have a long drive today, so I am hoping to get caught up on all the comments from this week and your blogs while we do that (cue car sickness about ten minutes into that process). In the meantime, I hope you’ve got great weekend plans!
Continuing last week’s theme, here’s Choppy sleeping. Again. And again. This time, like a cat.Non-Choppy office dog time! I’ve never fed him any treats, such that he would come and just rest his head on me for long periods of time. Never, ever.Lest you think Choppy only sleeps these days, nope. Here she is hoping I will give her some food (it’s a common theme among the dogs in my life).Choppy had a rather crowded trip to work this morning, as our car is filled to the brim with tailgating items for the weekend away.I don’t have a “Where’s Choppy?” picture today, but this preview of Monday’s Bad Jokes post will hopefully make up for it.
Choppy looks slightly put out about the lack of space in HER car! 😉
Adorable work companion you have there! My dog Ruby used to do the same thing, particularly at the dinner table, as if to say, “Don’t forget me!”
No way have you never fed treats to that delightful face of office dog. That’s adoration I see in those eyes. I recognise it from Choppy.

Hope your travels went well! We have to feed some of our dogs children’s gravol to make it on extended trips.
It’s Thanksgiving here, which means a) i have to cover shifts at work, so am working all weekend, and 12 consecutie days in a row b) i still have to make a turkey dinner since we can’t travel to see family – oof!
Hope you had a safe trip, lots of fun 🙂 and no car sickness. I tend to get this if someone wants me to read a map or we are going round curves and up and down hills or mountains. Yuck, I hate that feeling!
I used to have a 1/2 lab 1/2 German Shepherd dog named Toby. I tend to not “ooh!” and “ah!” too much as i used to. But your dog, Choppy, and office dog look sweet. 🙂
Love that Halloween collar, C. Have a fun weekend.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

She really does seem to think the entire backseat and passenger seat should belong to her!

Wren would sit in my lap if she could! 😀

I think Choppy would as well – I am very thankful I didn’t let her when she was a puppy. She would have fit then, but now? Not so much!

Ha! I *may* actually be the person who brings a whole bag of dog treats in her lunch bag.

We are just a few miles from home (and early enough I am maybe going to get to see The Martian tonight!), and all went well over the weekend.
As for you, things sound absurdly busy. On the plus side, if the turkey turns out poorly, just blame it on a lack of time!

May the drive not have been too tedious. But the photos are great fun. Such expressiveness! Enjoy the weekend all of you.

Thanks! It has been fun so far (and the drives have been busy – probably the least fun we had the whole time!).

There was no car sickness! I will count that as a win.
And Toby sounds like a great mix of dogs – no idea what Choppy is, but I think it is a great combo!

It was a great weekend – now, back to work (I failed to find treasure this weekend, and thus remain in need of money).

I try to keep her happy (thankfully, some food tends to do the trick!).
