This post is being written from my somewhat unpacked office! It only took a month (OK, a month and several days) to get to the point where I can sit at my desk in my office in the new house, but the point is, I did eventually unpack. If, by unpack, you mean “got the office to the absolute most basic point where one could call in unpacked. And please ignore the many boxes that are currently sitting in it for purposes of this statement.” I’m calling it unpacked.
And now, for what you’re all here for (except those two of you who are interested in my packing/unpacking woes): pictures of Choppy.

Keep up with Travels with Choppy on Facebook and Twitter!
Choppy also has her own Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
You can also follow our blog by clicking the “Follow” link at the top of this page or at Bloglovin’!
You could turn that last pic into a “Where’s Choppy?” series!

I could! I may have to steal this idea…

How did you get on with the Sushi? You got through making it, how did it taste? ☺☺
Have a lovely weekend love.

Oh, it was pretty good – it even looked OK, considering it was our first time!

With two votes, I definitely think I will have to bring it back for future posts!

Homemade sushi – good on you!

We are miles from the nearest sushi here – it may be a necessity to learn how to do it ourselves (though we did find a place that’s only ten minutes away. We’re testing it out this week to see how it is. Perhaps we won’t be forced to homemade sushi all the time).

That “useless” photo of Choppy reminds me of many of the icon photos that I see on Twitter. Just saying. No disrespect intended to any person who happens to have a photo like that one. Darned lovely.

Ha! Very relatedly, I sometimes wish more people would realize how useless their Twitter posts are and stop posting them. (Note: I hope no one feels this way about me).

I have not found choppy on the last picture .. but I imagine joyful and playful…

Look near the stairs. You can only see a small bit of her.

Hey, co-pilots don’t pump gas. 😉
The chipmunks are driving us all mad, as Wren growls and barks constantly as they whip back and forth in PLAIN sight, cheeks bulging. I’m sure those cheeky b***ards are saying, “Nyah, nyah!” as they pass by!

They really are horrible! When we get the cat, though, I think they may be singing a different tune (and one that they do from the comfort and safety of their chipmunk holes!).

So long as she doesn’t change the radio station, she’s an excellent companion!

Thanks! It turned out quite well. Or really, perhaps it just turned out better than expected (with low expectations).

Sorry, I just have to say “Choppy” is an extremely cool dog name. If you get a younger one, I’m begging you to please call it “Chippy.” 😀

Thanks! And that would be a hilarious combination (though I doubt I would ever get their names correct!).

Well, I get my kids’ names the wrong way round all the time, which is even more embarrassing.

I still answer to the names of all my siblings – and the long-passed dog we grew up with!

Oh, my grandmother was just like that with me when I was a boy. I was usually about the fifth name on the list. 🙂

Choppy looks very focused when driving. That’s good. I’d probably keep the camera out of her reach at the lights though.

She is only focused because there are no nearby cats or pet stores. Both would quickly result in distraction.

I can’t – no more cooking shows other than what I already have on the DVR and never watch! So tempting to do nothing but watch cooking shows!

Paul and you did a good job on making the sushi. I’m not surprised that Choppy was curious about it. I would do the same if i were here. It looked really delicious! 😉
