August 2009:
Back when I first moved to Indiana as a lawyer, the Indianapolis Colts (that’s a football team – American football) trained in the town where I lived. They moved away shortly thereafter, but while they were there, Choppy got to see them!

You need to take him to a soccer game, too! 😉
Have a great day,

I’m thinking the hubby will have to do that one – I much prefer the American version!

Well, I’m not yet americanized that much yet. 😉 I’m still a soccer fan. And, luckily for me, the German “Erste Bundesliga” [first division soccer] will be shown here in the US on Fox Sports, beginning next weekend. Happy days are here again! 😉
Have a great weekend,

Hey, you’re talking to someone who would wake up at very early hours to listen to baseball when she lived overseas – always excellent to get some sports from home!

Fortunately, the time zone difference works in my favour: the soccer matches will be broadcast at a “decent” time, starting at around 08:30 AM here. 🙂

Get the drinking started early…or maybe that’s just how it would work in my world.

Choppy looked a bit puppyish there!

She was much more puppy-like at the time (just as I was much younger myself!).

Has Choppy gone ice skating or riding a snow mobile..I can picture her on dainty small skates or on snow mobil with goggles and muffler! Way cool!! 🙂

She hasn’t gone on a snowmobile – she has done an ATV, and really doesn’t like it (I think it’s the noise). And she’ll definitely do some ice skating at the new house – we have a perfect pond for it there!

Look forward to seeing posts of it then 🙂

Not a football fan then? She’d probably be more interested if there were hotdogs for sale!

Oh, most definitely – sporting events are definitely better in her mind with food involved. Actually, with Choppy, that goes for any activity.

Ah… not a gridiron girl?

Nope – but that goes for all sports. Except those where food is involved. She’s a competitive eater at heart.
