Things remain busy around here – which isn’t an entirely bad thing!
Getting up close and personal with Choppy. I am pretty sure she is looking for food.Choppy really doesn’t seem understand how poor a hiding spot this is.This is Choppy during the rain – as you can see, I indulge her desire to stick her head out the window even while raining. In related news, this is a dog who won’t go outside to take care of her business in the rain. Somehow, there is a difference between that and the car window that I do not understand. This is our newest office dog, Rosie! I am sure you will see more of her in the future.
I’ve heard from many people that Choppy is not alone. It appears it is rather common that a dog doesn’t like the rain, but has no issue with other water types.
My daughter’s dog will not go out in the rain and get anything wet, especially her feet. But, that same dog will romp in the snow like she is a puppy (which she is not) and get totally wet. Who knows what these dogs are thinking.
Thank you! We have been somewhat hit or miss with the blog lately. The problems of having a job, looking for a house and attempting to finish writing a book!
The peeing in the rain is a dog thing. Maggie doesn’t like it either.

She is – she is still a little shy, but hopefully I will be able to win her love (by feeding her treats).

Choppy really just doesn’t like the rain – all other water forms are fine. I don’t get it.

They are mysterious – and yet so open. It’s a wonderful contrast!

Yes it is. Each dog has their own personality just like human beings.
