I think Izzy is usually just excited someone is paying attention to her – she went from an only dog to a dog with two human siblings in the last three years. She is still loved, but she has to share it with others!

Love it! My dog’s cousin is coming for a visit next weekend and we’re going to have to rest up for a few days. Keeping up with a young puppy is hard work for all of us.

Puppies do have so much energy! The first time these two got together, Izzy was still a puppy and Choppy was still under two. They did not sleep. As in, they stayed up all. night. long. Thankfully, they are now both 5+ years, so things have calmed down to manageable levels, but it’s still a lot more energy around here with Izzy than without!
