Monday was not only Groundhog Day, it was Paul’s birthday! It was also our six month anniversary. Paul – a cat person – has spent all of that time attempting to get used to living with a dog. I think Choppy makes him uncomfortable.

Keep up with Travels with Choppy on Facebook and Twitter!
Choppy also has her own Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
You can also follow our blog by clicking the “Follow” link at the top of this page or at Bloglovin’!
She will win him over yet.

I hope so! I think he’ll be happier when taking her for a walk doesn’t involve temperatures only involving a single digit.

It is an adjustment for one species people. I love being a multi-species person 🙂

I’ve always had all sorts of pets. I think I am like you – multi-species is fine with me!

I think he had a very good birthday! Or at least I hope he did!

I think a dog can win you over more easily than a cat. I’ve always been more of a dog person, but I do like our five cats, too. Especially when I have one of them on my arms, and he’s purring. I find that soothing. That’s different with a dog, of course. In a dog I find the looks so adorable: trustung and loving.
Have a great day, and a belated happy birthday to Paul,
Pit

I grew up with all sorts of pets: cats, dog, birds, hamsters, etc. – they are very different, but I enjoy them all (though I would be fine never having a rodent around again). I’m sure we’ll have a cat sooner rather than later.
And I will let Paul know your birthday wishes to him!

I’d stick with the cat, Paul.

He’s all aboard with that sentiment.

I’m sure they’ll work it out given enough time. 🙂 Happy Birthday Paul.

I think they’re close to reaching something. It may be more of a détente than an actual agreement, but I’ll take that.

I like the last photo… I would find a cat too… (but admittedly Choppy is very cute)

I think the last one is the funniest – it is very Paul!

Hi! Apparently you are the latest Follower of our (Ray and I) blog. I actually do the writing while Ray provides a seemingly infinite list of topics! We hope you enjoy our Posts as much as we enjoy writing them. Ray does not like cats so I haven’t told him about this Post however I (having 5 cats in my past) loved it! If you have a moment, I did a Post “Cats & Dog” on Nov 30, 2014 which I think you may be able to relate to. 🙂 Thx again for Following us. Colin.

I do like your blog! And around here, it is mostly dogs – at least until we get a new house and Paul gets his cat. Then, who knows what will happen around here…
