Sometimes, you visit a place and it is amazing. You have a great time and, because of the fun you are having, you do something like fail to take any pictures (despite having a blog that relies upon said pictures).

That pretty much sums up the trip Choppy and I took to Jasper, Alberta.

Despite our good times, I did mange to get two pictures. They are, quite possibly, the two most random pictures one could take in Jasper – particularly because neither even makes an attempt to capture the stunning scenery that is the reason everyone goes to the place.

This is Jasper the Bear. He is apparently the mascot of Jasper. I just like any statue of a large animal, cartoon or not.

I assume this shirt involves some sort of Canadian hockey rivalry that completely escapes me as an American. Also, there is an awesome old Atari in this picture. Obviously, nothing in this picture suggests I am in Jasper.
