Travels with Choppy 
Our cats would have liked to sit in the box, but I don’t think our Chiquita, the dog, would have. So I can understand Choppy not being too happy.

The problem is getting her in the box – she won’t jump in on her own, and she isn’t the lightest dog of all time when it comes to picking her up. Once she is in there, it’s a bit of a puzzle for her in terms of getting out (though, thankfully, a little box tipping usually works).

As to lifting dogs: I stll remember lifting Sally [94 pounds] into the car!

Paul will pick Choppy up – she’s got a fluctuating weight that should be around 60. I’m not too keen on hurting myself, so I tend to let her stay on the ground (though I do make exceptions for pictures and other random situations).
