For a dog, Choppy is well-traveled (that’s what happens when you take a year off of work to travel with her). She has been to two countries, many provinces, and even more states. How many? This many:
That’s a lot of states. [Note: Apparently, the counter on this counts D.C. as a state. I don’t, because it’s not a state]For those of you counting (/those who looked at the title of the post, that’s 43 states. She’s been to every state east of the Mississippi except Michigan (somewhat oddly, as she regularly goes to Notre Dame games, which are only a few miles from the Michigan border). I’d love to take her out west again and knock off the rest of the western states she missed. As for Hawaii, who knows – it’s the one state I haven’t been to, and I’m pretty sure I…I mean, Choppy, would enjoy a week or so at the beach…
Yup, we’ve even been here.

I like to think that she would have great stories – things I forgot to write down or remember.

Better take nite-I think Hawaii has quarantine rules for pets. Choppy has sure traveled to a lot more states than me!!

I’ve actually looked at the quarantine rules. I am pretty sure that Choppy will never cross Hawaii off of the list, unless we move there.
