It appears I have not written a blog post for a long time (though I have still been posting on Facebook and Twitter. And, of course, Choppy continues to post at her Facebook page). Choppy and I are going to be on the road a lot in the next few months. Even though we’re mostly going to be headed to and from Wisconsin, I’ll add some posts on our trips because random things happen on them all the time.

Otherwise, I wanted to post on two things.

First, I got engaged! This is all sorts of excellent for me (and, as we’re getting married in Wisconsin, the reason for the more-frequent-than-normal trips to America’s Dairyland). If you follow Choppy on Facebook, you’re already aware of this, and the fact that I enjoy dressing her up as a bride. Lucky her!.

It turns out, if you angle the photo oddly and blur the edges, it looks like you know what you’re doing.

Just as a heads up, if you take your dog to the park, dress her in a veil and proceed to take pictures of her, you will get odd looks.

Second, after our time traveling, we put a lot of miles on the car. As in, a lot. I’ve had the car about three and a half years, and we turned 100,000 miles.
