Choppy and I finally made it home at the beginning of September. Apparently, on our last days on the road, I only took pictures of signs, as we were attempting to get home quickly. So, here are some signs. And yes, it is kind of anti-climactic.
I did not understand this garbage can at all. I was already pretty sure that you aren’t supposed to be disposing of dogs in rest area garbage cans. I’m not sure why there needs to be a sign indicating this.I like a place that indicates it has classy restrooms. No more trashy restrooms for this gal! It’s all bathroom attendants and cloth towels from now on! (Note: there were no bathroom attendants here. Or cloth towels)Really, America? Are we so lazy that we can’t even be troubled to move our hands when washing them? (Note: Obviously, this was not the classy bathroom).I really, truly hope that there are not people out there who see this billboard and realize, for the first time, that they should not be shaking babies.Yes, Knob Noster is a real town. It is not, however, home to Beaver Drilling.
I always like finding funny signs. Some I have seen have been “modified” and are hilarious but the best ones are just funny on their own. I hope people aren’t realizing for the first time that they should not be putting their dog in trash cans 🙂
Thanks Sarah for sharing your travels, it has been a real adventure. What now, something terrible like going back to work?

For now, a little more traveling – so I will still be posting. I am working on a book about the year as well, so maybe something will come of that!
