For the record, February has been VERY cold here. Choppy was never fond of the cold, so I got to spend a lot of my coldest days with her on the treadmill walking.
Flapjack, on the other hand? He LOVES the cold. And, being a puppy, he still has a lot of energy. So, we get a lot of very cold walks (like Sunday, when the wind chill was -30 degrees Fahrenheit). If we don’t get out for our walks, it’s a disaster at home. So, out we go, braving the cold if you’re me, and wondering why we aren’t walking more if you’re Flapjack.
Yesterday, it was 17 degrees Fahrenheit when we went to the dog park. Every person there was commenting about how nice the weather was. Ah, Wisconsin in winter – where double digits without a minus sign in front of them are a reason to be happy.

Hmmm…if Flapjack didn’t like the cold you’d maybe have to consider moving to a state where the weather is warmer.

Nice to read your update, Sarah. Flapjack sounds like a handful, but what puppy isn’t? 😉 Had a good chuckle about your assessment of Wisconsin winters, ha!
