We finished up our writing year this last week – 500+ words per day. At the end of the year, I had 255,926 words, for an average of 701 words per day. That’s a lot of words (most of which will likely never see the light of day, but you never know!).

Choppy: on her leash for a reason – more to come at some point either this week or next week. Suffice to say, it has not been her happiest week of all time. She should just be glad she got out of the cone of shame for a little bit.

Yes! She is now – let’s just say she is not the best at recovery. She had minor surgery last week, but has since pulled out stitches and been a sneaky little lady in attempting to do it again.

Cheeky madam! Can you out a towel over the surgery site?

I’ve been making her wear the cone – just a few more days of watching her bang into things.

My dog years ago discovered it was the perfect tool for hogging the food bowl and not have to share! He’d guide it over the top then lower his head until the cone was resting on the floor, the bowl completely obscured!

When my dog had a cone on, she’d go down to the basement, on her way back up a full flight of stairs, she’d bump the cone into each step, for a smart dog, it seemed like ‘poor-me- syndrome.’ 😮😬🤣

Do you think being a lawyer is an advantage on the word count? 😊I used to be even more wordy when I worked in the field. Now I’m just a semi-wordy writer. LOL
