This is actually an old picture – but I came across it looking for something else, and figured it was a good one to share with everyone for Midnight Mutts!

This is not an uncommon scene around here – Schooner wants out, and Choppy wants in (only the latter actually happens, though Schooner is still hopeful one day he will get to play outside).

I love it when cats paddle at the glass – so silly, it always brings a laugh!

It does! I wonder what they think when they do it, because sometimes it seems like they really enjoy it.

Let me out, or let me in…either way, it’s pretty cute.

It makes me think of that one dog meme where the dog is outside: “Let me inside so I can go back out again.”

Very cute. So, how did you keep Schooner from escaping as Choppy is coming in?

He rarely makes a real attempt at getting outside. Usually, I can catch him before he does (or if I’m worried, I just pick him up before I let Choppy in).

It turned out well – I’m glad I could get Schooner in action.
