Lazy Day is everyday here. At least, it’s Lazy Day if you have four legs.

Maybe the expectation bar should be raised. It is difficult to get pets to do many chores……even for 🥓🥓 rewards 😋 Sweet, loving, cuddly pets are maybe better than grumbly workers.

I’ll take the former as well – even if it means I have two lazy creatures wandering from nap to nap around the house.

Choppy should meet my dog, Chase. He sleeps at least twenty-one hours. What happened to Schooner? He looks like he saw a ghost.

I don’t think he wanted to be taking a picture – he has been in a mood all week long.

Schooner would sleep 23 hours a day (gotta eat sometimes) 😸😸😸

They do have it good – if only all pets were so lucky!

Choppy, I’m sure you get in plenty of naps. You need to be awake for those walks and treats. Schooner does look like he is awfully interested in something….must have been the after picture treat. BTW, the other day I was so tired, I said I really needed a 12 hour nap followed by a good nights sleep! So, 20 hours sounds about right. 😉

I could definitely go for a 20 hour nap myself – though I’m not sure when I’m going to find time for that!

I know. Me either! Got up early this morning for a tennis match, but it had rained overnight and we couldn’t play. So, lost my beauty sleep for nothing. LOL

Being a dog is hard work. Naps let us rejuvenate enough to chase cats.

Sam, you are absolutely correct – and us humans don’t always remember how hard it is to be a dog! Don’t forget all the effort that goes into taking walks and begging for treats!

I think Schooner is watching a treat behind the camera! 🙂

A treat or a toy! (Shh, don’t tell anyone – it’s our secret to making him look at the camera!)

And life is all about choice…..20 hours of sleep? What is that?? Don’t think it would work for me, but it certainly does for all my precious ones….

Some days, I think 20 hours would be a low estimate around here!
