One of Tippy’s favorite things to eat is carrots. That is the treat I give her when I leave and tie her out. Now, if only I could think of a carrot as a treat, I might not have to go on a diet. LOL
Henry was introduced to veggies when he was a puppy and we had a huge vegetable garden. Tomatoes check zucchini check broccoli check-loved everything but celery- spit that out every time. 🙃
Ha! I should never have let Choppy try dip. Now she is like me – she doesn’t see the point of veggies unless there is dip on them. And really, then they are just glorified spoons for getting dip into the tummy.
I think Choppy makes a great looking doctor. I’m glad you call her a him sometimes too! Mom and dad have a cat that they have had since it was a kitten, and I mean a little bitty thing. Mom bottle fed him and his siblings until they were old enough to drink on their own and eat. Anyway, for some reason, we thought it was a girl, so called it “her” or “she” for a few months. When they had it “fixed,” we found out it was a boy. We have the hardest time not calling him “she!” But, like you said, he is a cat, so he could care less. LOL
I’m glad this doesn’t just happen to me! We’ve had several pets over the years who were regularly referred to as the wrong sex – probably most notably, “Mr. T,” a budgie who turned out to be female.
Oh, Choppy is a dream for these – she will generally look wherever I put her head, turn where I need her and even let me physically move her to the position I want her in. Schooner…well, Schooner is a cat. Things don’t work the same way with him. I’m just happy I have a way to make him look at the camera pretty easily (it’s a pipe cleaner – he loves those things).
LOL, this is a good one – and laughter is good medicine as well. 🙂

The question is, what did she study in medical school? Catiology? Purrdiatrics?

I hope Schooner isn’t diagnosed w/ BO = 🥓 Overdose. 😮

I hope not!

Oh, I thought Dogter Choppy was having a generous moment and recommending that Schooner get more treats. 😉
She is such a sweetie! ❤

I think she was – but only in the hopes that she could snag most of them for herself (it’s not written, just implied because she is a dog).

I’m thinking Choppy is thinking more lesson-teaching parent than wise medical practitioner there 🤣

Perhaps she’s just an unwise medical practitioner!

This gave us a laugh. Chancy would go for those treats sweet Choppy. Hugs and nose kisses

Our poor Gert had her colon checked the hard way this week. She won’t be feeling this one.

Awesome! Yes. I’ve called my boys girls. I’ve always had girl dogs.
I am glad to see I’m not the only one making sign mistakes 😉😉

I sometimes refer to Choppy and Schooner with a collective “girls” or “ladies.” Schooner doesn’t know, nor care!

Choppy makes a great “dogter” although I suspect might not have a lot of empathy when treating Schooner.

I suspect the prescription for treats is mostly for him. He’s a pill/treat-seeker. Much like House.

Such clever animals – and obviously they love each other, and only want the BEST TREATS. xo

They WANT the best treats, though they would probably settle for whatever treats I’m willing to give them! 😉

True. My golden ended up loving the ends of green beans. 🙂

Really?! Choppy won’t touch veggies any more. Well, unless I dip them in ranch or something equally unhealthy that she isn’t supposed to eat.

I like how those two behave and seem so photogenic but realize how hard it must be at times to get them to cooperate! 😀
