That would be ideal. Unfortunately, when it comes to food, both of them seem to have the “what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine” attitude. Thankfully, they don’t fight, but they certainly do steal a lot of food from each other.
No one would want my pb&j and apple – ha! How I coveted the other kids’ chips, snacks and desserts, lovingly assembled by doting moms. My mother worked, so we were on our own for making our lunch. (Hear the violins? ;-D )
I was one of the kids with the mom packing her lunch – though I always brought extra snacks for my friends who had parents who didn’t believe in junk food. I was the elementary school (junk food) dealer!
I’m not surprised! Choppy and Schooner have their favorites, but bacon is like a whole different world to them. If I so much as set it on the counter, I have two close shadows!
I hope Choppy & Schooner get what they want…maybe another indoor picnic.

I don’t think anyone has to worry about these two getting what they want. I think “spoiled” would be an apt description of their lives.

If they Did pack their own lunches, I have no doubt that Bacon is all the bags would contain. 😀

This brings me back to my school days with names on the bags! 😉

Most definitely! I was always a bag lunch kid, with my name on there. I wouldn’t want someone to take all my treats!

Cute. Schooner, I hope you didn’t take Choppy’s bacon when she wasn’t looking!

It’s every pet for him or herself around here – especially when it comes to bacon.

The first time I gave Abby the rescue bacon she followed me around all day.

Me too! Of course, as I pack my own lunch, I suppose I could have a bacon lunch any day!

Bacon never lets you down. It rules. I’m sure these two are VERY respectful of each other’s bags. Or not.
