Happy Friday! We’ll have the Howlidays post up in a couple hours, then a “Where’s Choppy” post up at lunch. If you’re bored before then, you could always pop over to Amazon and pick up this book. Or this one.
Despite a turn back to some cooler weather, we didn’t have much wind for Day 314 and took advantage of that to get two walks in!
Walk One:
Date: March 9, 2017
Location: Home
Length: 1.3 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy
Walk Two:
Date: March 9, 2017
Location: Home
Length: 2.1 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy

Wow! Those smart scientists figured out the Bacon Tree thing that quickly…they are probably just saplings, with miniature bacon strips 🥓🥓

I’m not sure if Choppy and Schooner are patient enough for them to get to their adult stage.

If it weren’t for the white skies, this could almost be a summer picture of Choppy in the hay! 🙂

It really could! Today we have bright blue skies and it would look very summery, if only it was warm enough for me to be able to pull out my phone without having it turn itself off thanks to the cold!

Oh dear! I just cannot comprehend! 😀
Although it is windy here, yesterday so much so (100kph) that a major cycle race was cancelled for the first time in 40 years, it still isn’t cold.

Oh, that would definitely not be the case here – even in the summer winds like that would probably not be terribly warm!

Yes, it is surprising. 🙂

Did she find either one? I think Tippy would be interested in purchasing one of those bacon tress!

Neither – though she did find a dead bunny this morning (she’d found it last week as well, but it was much worse for wear this weekend. Thankfully, she dropped it when I asked her to. I’m glad she did – I don’t think I wanted to wrestle that out of her mouth!

I’m glad she did too. That is one thing that I have to deal with with Tippy. If she gets a dead animal, she viciously protects it. And, if it is really nasty, she’ll roll in it too, before she eats it. Yuck.

Ugh! Choppy used to roll in a lot more dead things than she does now. Not that she doesn’t roll in them now, I think she has just figured out that it immediately results in a bath, which she hates. Sometimes, though, it still seems worth the bath to her.

Tippy’s not fond of baths either, but I don’t think she has made the connection, or, like you said, thinks it is worth it. LOL

Got many of those bacon trees? 😉

Sadly, we are still searching for them. Apparently they aren’t common in Wisconsin.
