We’ve returned home now from a weekend away – it seems winter arrived in full force while we were gone. Even the backyard pond has a layer of ice on it!
Date: November 20, 2016
Location: South Bend, Indiana
Length: 1.7 Miles
Who: Sarah
Meanwhile, in our absence, Schooner slept.

Stay warm, then. We had our first frost on Saturday night: 29 degrees. Not much, but then that’s South Central Texas.

I wish! I think I’ll start posting our walk temperatures at some point here – right now, it’s 20s and 30s for our walk. Not warm, but nothing we’re not far-too-used-to.

It did stay away far longer than normal here, so that’s something!

I reckon Schooner has the best location in the house. All that light and a view.

haha He really does like to be right at the top of his tree. 🙂
And well done on persevering with the walks even tho it is cold now. 🙂

Oh, there will be a day when I will long for the warm, freezing temperatures. It’s coming far sooner than I think!

Happy cat 🙂 does someone go in and feed him while you are gone?

He’s actually really good about his food – we just leave extra food and an extra litter box, and he eats as necessary. He’s not the ‘eat all the food because it’s there’ sort of cat!

That’s good, makes it easy to have a weekend away!

It seems like everyone has finally gotten to the cold weather (well, except for the southern hemisphere folks!).
