Hi, my girlfriends and I are thinking of a girls’ weekend in Door County. Is there a lot to do up there, like shop, eat out, swim, etc.? Or is it totally rustic?

Oh, it’s the perfect place for a girls’ weekend! Tons of little shops and restaurants, a dozen wineries, several playhouses, gardens, art galleries and the scenery can’t be beat. You can do a resort or a little house, or a spa or B&B to stay. It really is about the perfect place for a girls’ weekend.

Thanks for the info, Sarah! We just got back from Michigan, which we love, but we’ve gone several times now. Door County is a little further, but not much. Sounds like a good place!

Wow, well done. I believe you can tell the difference of all this walk in your body too, can you?
Take care.

Oh, definitely – part of the walk was very difficult. It was obviously more difficult than our normal walks, but nothing that completely tired me out. I could have walked more (it was mostly a desire to do something other than hiking that chased us off the trail, rather than tiredness!).

I would have face planted on a trail like this 😃 I do have a tenancy to look around and not pick up my feet. This looks like a bunch of ‘trips’ to me! Ha ha!

Hey Monika – We have something in common! I trip of roadway line makings! We’re both challenged in the area of agility and balance! 🙂

If only we could all have the grace of our four-legged friends! Well, some of them at least. I’ve seen a couple who are klutzes.

And this was the easy part of that hike! We ended up on a difficult trail that lived up to its billing. It was fun and pretty, but definitely one that required more attention paid to where one steps than I typically like.

That’s quite a hike, but the walk looks lovely 🙂

It was a great hike – this isn’t even the coolest part. Unfortunately, that part was also the most intense, so I didn’t break out the phone.

Understood. 🙂 At least you could enjoy it yourself 🙂

It looks very serene. Perfect dog country. Is off-leash legal there?

I’m not sure if it is or isn’t – we’re out past city limits here. We do see the sheriff’s deputies every morning (they get gas at a streets facility we walk past) and no one has said anything yet, so I am going with it being either legal, or something they don’t care about!
