On Day 5 of the Dog Walk Challenge, we amped things up a bit and took two walks (and, unlike Day 4, actually remembered to record them!). Details and pictures below.
Walk Number One
Date: May 5, 2016
Location: Home
Length: 1.2 Miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy
Walk Number Two
Date: May 5, 2016
Location: Work
Length: 2.6 miles
Who: Sarah & Choppy

How’s Choppy reacting to this increase in outdoor time?

Good – she only looks like she is exhausted for a few hours afterward!

Choppy is already looking super happy and fit! I hope you, as a mere human, can keep up! 😀

It is difficult! She is getting in much better shape!

And you?? 🙂

Not sure – but I like to think I’m getting in better shape!

You will be, it just takes us humans longer! 🙂

Probably why so many of us aren’t in shape – it takes too long to see results!

It really does, and the older you get, the harder it is and longer it takes. Sigh! Oh well I’ll go have some chocolate to cheer myself up! 😀

Oh, I remember the days when I could eat and drink whatever and still weigh some absurdly small amount…now, it seems there is a new normal.

True, but all your walking will definitely start to make a difference 🙂

Your weather has been great this week (compared to ours). It looks so spring-like there. Don’t you just love it? Looks like Choppy does. 🙂

We did have some good weather last week. I think it is warmer this week, but a little more rain in the forecast. As long as it is warm, I don’t mind!

Lucky choppy! I am just about to take Archie along a footpath we haven’t been on in years so I wonder what he will make of it!

How did he enjoy his nostalgic trip?

Loved it but was beaten by the end for sure!

I think Schooner needs to go on your walks too. 😉

I have been looking into a cat stroller – that should work!

After noticing walking distances and only 1 participant I contacted Choppy (via texting) where she corroborated the leash is a scam to make it appear that Sarah has actively participated. The fact is, Choppy has been out on her own thankful for the brief reprieve from modeling Sarah’s creative pet wardrobe. I believe the readers would appreciate several selfies to prove these walks really incorporate a total of 6 LEGS!

They are – Choppy seems to be enjoying them. As for Schooner, I think he would like to join in, but I’m not sure he would enjoy them so much once he was on them!

Choppy seems to be enjoying all the extra activity.

I think she is – though some days, during the walks, I’m not so sure. She looks exhausted (and then we see a squirrel or other small creature, and you wouldn’t know she was tired at all!).

This makes me think of the movie” UP” and the dogs reaction to squirrels. Ha!

That movie pretty much captures Choppy’s reaction exactly!
